Bought tickets for the Brandon show through the fan presale the other day, with no intentions on going to the Winnipeg show. Curiosity got the best of me, and I tried getting tickets at 10 AM for Winnipeg just to see what I pulled up, and I managed front row right in front of Rob. My impulsiveness made me hit "buy tickets". This day is off to a good start.

Got Guelph tickets in Live Nation pre-sale yesterday.
Ticketmaster suggesting there are no pairs left, so it might be all but sold out.
I cheaped out the other day and got the $100 tickets for Winnipeg. I got front row for Fargo so I figured that would be good enough. Also, with these recent setlists I've decided to skip Brandon. Don't feel like driving in January to see them mix up only a few songs.
I just checked ticketmaster and there are a ton of tickets left for both of the Manitoba shows. Traditionally The Hip have sold very well in Winnipeg. I think it might be time to stick to theatre tours in Canada.

Maybe the lack of sales in the rest of Canada will get them doing theatre shows there instead the next time around.
Or drop their ridiculous ticket prices. Either way.

In what world is $100 "cheap" for tickets?

Anyone get tix for ACC Feb 14th? I am not a big fan of the big venues unless I have great seats, I really don't like not knowing what seats I'm getting. However I couldn't resist lol!
$100 for the hip? yeah, no thanks. absolutely no need for prices to be that high

Oh yeah!
could not take advantage of the numerous presales due to 'life' getting in the way. Hoping the public sale is kind to me this Saturday morning .
snagged four top-tier tickets earlier this week in the fan presale for the ACC Feb 14. My first time seeing them... Well not really, I went to the Big Music Fest in Bobcaygeon last year and while I enjoyed the music, the event itself sucked such balls that I couldn't enjoy myself. From the freakish lineups for beer and washrooms to the absolutely retarded parking and bus situation, it is a black mark on my otherwise fondly remembered concert-going career. I look forward to seeing them properly in February!
lovely ... been refreshing since 10:00 am and running the phone. Cannot get even a single ticket for Oshawa.
pffffft
