I still have the CD bootleg of this show, titled "So Hip it Hurts". Bought it at Recordland in Calgary in the early 90s before the Internet came along. Back then they had an entire section devoted to selling live bootlegs. Pretty sure I bought Roxy & Elsewhere at the same store.

any chance you could rip it and upload it?

Holy crap! That sounds amazing. Anybody here have the technical know-how to separate those tracks and upload it?
That sounds like a soundboard to me!
if i knew how to send a message to the uploader, i would ask him/her to upload it somewhere

edit: i think i figured out how. i'll send him a note and see what he says

This show is in the Hipbase archive in the Still to be Sorted folder, in the SOTD subfolder. Was this show put up for streaming on thehip.com a few years ago and during such time some intrepid soul simply ripped the stream?

By the way, the Mega Rant during Merdian goes like this:

Gun Free Japan
Poets
"The sun is poor, the moon is free / And don't you love 'em both equally" *
Fear (with the "bureau chiefs" line from Stay)
"I got a feelin' for you..." +
"Bigger Lights, bigger shadows" ... "if rock and roll is dead then give me my commission" *
Blonde Solid
"I got a fear boner" *
Purple Paint

* Near as I can tell, these are lyrics being workshopped that never made it anywhere after the Henhouse tour, but correct me if I'm wrong
+ I'm pretty sure this is part of Win-Win Situation/100 Years Old. It might be the demo from the 1990s I want to be released officially more than anything else, just because we have virtually no idea what it sounds like.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll grab it tonight.
Well I'll be damned, there are a bunch of soundboard recordings I didn't even know existed in that SOTD folder. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! The only downside is that they're all ripped at 96 kbps. But I'm not complaining, as I assume that's what they were uploaded as on thehip.com?

Regardless, this is amazing.

El Rey Theater, Albuquerque '94
Irving Plaza, NY '95
ACC, Toronto, 2000
Aggie Theater, Fort Collins, CO, 2000
Somerville Theater, Boston, 2002 (I was at this show!)
Jubilee Auditorium, Edmonton, 2002
MTS Centre, Winnipeg, 2004

Confusedhock: the YouTube guy said that he would upload it to google and send me a link.

Hmm, interesting. So I wonder who the mystery Hip fan is who uploaded all these shows to the archive?
not sure. i don't know it is MojoPaw because he said didn't know how to upload to google drive but will figure it out.
