Awesome! I stop surfing the "Base" for a few months and next thing you know there's bootlegs from my hometown posted on Youtube!! I know they played The Venue a few times in the late 80's but none of these shows have made the concert list yet. It would be great if "Darrelmeister" could confirm the date these were shot. He notes it as 1990, so I'm thinking it was early that year because the name of the bar changed to Channel One around the summer of '90. And last thought...why wasn't I there!! I made a few stops at The Venue back in the day, but never saw the Hip, :-(
I guess this is as close as I'll get!!!

According to Darrelmeister this show in Regina was on March 5th 1990. Another one for Mav to add to thehip.com's list!

It would be very cool if the owner of the recording would put it out as a dvd on a tracker, or anything of better quality than youtube.

I emailed him when he posted the first clip but it never went anywhere. He responded to me but hasn't yet followed through. Maybe another request from another fan might help - or from multiple fans. He clearly can digitize his footage; let's ask him to dump th footage to DVD and torrent or B&P it?

I commented on one of the vids that he has alot of us very happy and for him to come visit us here,but yeh lets work some base magic and bring this show home!
