Amazing footage for an amazing show, thank you again!

April 26, 1993, The Roxy in Los Angeles. Located in the Live Hip Show Archive, which I hadn't really explored in depth until last week.

Awesome, thanks!
In 2010, I somehow pulled up front row centre tickets for the Country of Miracles show at the Playhouse in Fredericton, New Brunswick (where I was living at the time).

Here's a video of Canada Geese, and during Canada Geese, Gord grabs me and brings me on stage to help with the lighting effect being produced for the song. At one point I just stop doing that, and look out at the crowd, and realize I'm on stage at a Country of Miracles show, so I kinda keep my on the effect (i just had to spin a thing every 10 seconds) and I rocked out. Gord came and sat right in front of me and rocked out with me.

The owners of Second Spin Saint John (and now Fredericton) filmed the entire show.

I think they lurk on here sometime. Huge Hip fans.

Anyways, that's my story and I'm stickin to it.
Also, this is epic:

I added this today from the live hip archive - I edited the two parts of the video together and did some adjustments to the audio as it was pretty rough - it may still be a bit rough but I think it is a bit clearer now.

Found it linked on reddit, came here to see if it was posted and... same one Smile Wow... crowd of 20 people. It's like those bands that play at off-peak times at festivals for whoever is standing around. At least when they did a bar/club show back then, they had a specific audience. Crazy to think about how we talk about 100,000+ at an outdoor show for them now.

Amazing! It's quite rare to find footage from the pre-Up to Here days, and I had no idea Three Pistols was written that early. Very cool. It's so weird to see them playing for such a small crowd, especially with all of them just sitting on their asses like that. A band that great in front of 'em and they can't even be bothered to stand up and move around a little? Brutal.

There was another either Highway Girl or NOIS I heard years ago in a bar downtown "My Apartment" in Toronto and the DJ played a live version of something and all I remember is Gord sing a line from LADY by Little River Band.... he sang "Take time to make time, make time to be there. Look around..." then i think back into whatever song it was, such a cool version it seemed like at the time... and I never seemed to hear it again

wow, this really is spectacular. Audio, video, editing....All top notch.
All involved should be very proud of how this came out. Your hard work is truly appreciated!

I'm going to show this to my wife, who is not much of a fan but has agreed to go see them with me on this tour to what all the fuss is about for hip shows.
I think it'll give her a pretty good appreciation of what to expect.
I just added this clip from the full Toronto December 31 1999 show at the ACC. Just Ahead By A Century/Unplucked Gems/Happy New Year/Save The Planet

Haha I might have another 1-2 more this was literally not long after The Hip announced recording allowed and we took cameras into the Phantom Zone a couple times and you can imagine the audio is distorted. It would be nice to locate an audio of those shows if any and make a proper video or see if someone can salvage the audio since the video from that time era that close is rare in some cases... I believe it was just 1 tour before Chris and Mark started their Taping Program and I retired. lol
