LarryIrvine Wrote:Does anyone have the Hips performance at the Juno's in 2005 (I believe)....performed Fully, Completely and Grace Too....is it on Youtube?
Grace Too was be far the best version I have ever heard...the Pope had just died and I believe Downie coined something like, "being lost in a hotel hall and this might be my last John Paul" and then sang lyrics to the Weakerthans Aside.
Was a classic performance.
Would really like to see that one again.
It's on Hipfans.com Grab Bag 5. You can download the DVD for free here: http://www.thehiptracker.com/details.php?id=302

I believe this song appears on a bootleg as either 'Untitled' or 'Untitled Jam'. Here, Gord introduces it as 'Night Comes Down'/

I emailed the poster of these videos and asked if he'd send me the original footage for a Hipfans.com Grab Bag.... He's into the idea, and has more than two thirds of this concert.

Amazing that 19 years later, even to the die-hards, new recordings can still surface!
After some very minor research, 'Night Comes Down' appears on the boot for Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto, Ontario July 15th, 1988. Dana posted it as one of his Downloads of the week a while back: http://www.thehundredthmeridian.com/dow ... titled.mp3
