Canada vs. Russia. GAME ON!!!

0-0 after the 1st. This is intense hockey! Lots of speed and emotion from both teams, and great chances at both ends. Both goalies have been amazing so far.

Its still 0-0 after two, boy this is nerve-racking, I sure hope we get the first goal, its going to be a close one.

I wonder if Bob Clarke had chest pains when he saw Gagne go off hurt.. :lol:

Too many passes not enough goals. Seemed like when we had a chance to shoot, we'd pass for a "better" opportunity

The Russians definitely had a noticeable speed advantage. Both goalies played GREAT. It was a close game that could have gone either way but the Russians deserved the win. They just seemed to want it more and seemed to win more battles. Ovechkin certainly has disappointed in this tournament.

Ohlund and Salo eh? Hopefully the injuries aren't serious. BTW, did Bertuzzi make one good play today? :roll:

It's not a sad day, we did well in Speed Skating, Cross Country Skiing, and We're guaranteed a medal in Curling.

sorry, i ment a sad day for me.....

dont get me wrong, i'm happy we won, what 4 medals today? i'm just sad because we lost the only medal i really cared about winning

i think the olympic hockey should go back to the amatuers like it was in the good old days
