I would still be seeding - but after I shut it down - I still cannot figure out how to restart it.
Me and this search thingy do not get along, at all.
If I understand you Dana....just go back to the site and click the torrent of the show you want to seed...it will open your bit client and seed it.

Technically you do have a firewall habsfan. XP comes with a primitive firewall that I believe is on by default. Check this link to learn how to forward your bit ports:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp...bContent=1
Thanks - I'll try that - I always just assumed that would download it again.
Thank you.

Firewall was off, thanks

It will only download again if the files you originally downloaded have been moved/renamed/etc. Otherwise it will verify what you have, and then start to seed it to other BT users.
Arrrgh Confusedcratch: bit torrent/flac etc is driving me nuts. Thought I had i down, got Bills bar and it wouldn't open so i deleted it. Then realized I needed FLAC fronted after i deleted my bit torrent thinking I'm an idiot and will never get any of this. So now I have both and am trying to get bills bar again....at 88 hr later. Went to try and open my firewall and that was a joke. So i beleive i am a no good leech who is very frustrated. Anyway I'm starting over. Wish me luck. I was on this site for a win mx problem so i thought i would pass it on now that i know that bit torrent exists in my world anyway. :thumb:

The Tragically Hip Bit Torrent Tracker
Amazing....I was at that show. I hadn't heard of Sam Roberts before that night, but my wife and I got there early enough to catch his set. It was a good show. The Hip have always had quality opening acts and I'm glad I'll have the chance to listen to it again!

Thank you Chris for posting this, and all the work you've put into this project. It's Christmas-come-early for all us Hip fans :thumb:
yes thanks a million Chris for putting this site together, finally got the downloading going too, it's not uploading too much though
chris Wrote:Hmmm...You'd think that any one of the 19 other people who completed the download would still be seeding. Confusedcratch:

I've had SRB seeding almost non-stop since the DL finished. Right now, I'm showing:

1st Priority
Seeding
Seeds: 0 (5)
Peers: 0 (0)
Up Speed: 0 B/s
Priority: high
Share Ratio: 0.230
Uploaded: 56.7 MB

My downloads are moving at a decent rate, as are most of my other seeds, but I don't think the SRB show has moved at all since this time yesterday. With the exception of this one non-moving seed, I've had no problems or confusion since I reconfigured my settings; hell, my site-stats are even showing better activity.

When I posted, there were 0 seeders, and 3 leeches. Things have changed, and that's great.
I've gotta say, the 2002-11-09 - Groningen, NL DVD is awesome. It's a shame the source is "unknown". The overall quality is superb and the show itself is a great representation of the IVL tour. The boys are tight!

If anyone's hesitant, it's definitely worth the bandwidth to DL and seed. Maybe I'm just stoked to see a non-North America show and witness the global recognition first-hand, I don't know. I shoulda been in bed hours ago; what was gonna be aquick burn turned into a full-blown viewing session.

Props to the original source, and to Chris for setting up the tracker and sharing this gem. :thumb:

The lead singer of The Practically Hip flew out to Europe and recorded all the Euro dvd's with his buddy; he then gave the masters to Peter to encode to dvd.

does anyone know the sound quality of this show?
Sound quality is really good, as good as the sound on the Hip boots from that two night run.

It's a good show, pre-total Canadian domination for Sam. There are people in the audience who definetly don't know who he is, but it shows his strength as an opening act, and as a musician in general.

Cheers

Pat
