I attempted my first torrent creating experience... we'll see if it works.

Shannon, I just dled the torrent, and I've been connecting to peers for awhile and it looks like no one is seeding. I don't know if my computer is just being slow to connect or what's going on. Just thought I'd let you know.

hmmm... I'm connected to SOMEONE right now... so it's kinda working. my speed isn't super high tho. The light won't turn green even tho I turned the firewall off.

I uploaded ARA in Ottawa, 1993. It's a real nice sounding show.

I uploaded a Chicago, 1991 show...it's very nice sounding.

Ok so I've ended up with two different Bittorrent programs on my computer: ABC and BitTornado - anyone have experience with both programs? Which one would be better for me to use?

I have no experience with ABC, but I use Bit Tornado and I highly recommend it. I have had no problems with it and find it very user friendly as a newbie to torrents.

Another question: I was downloading the Ottawa 199-02-07 show. I went away for a few hours and when I got home I checked up on it but the download had stopped and it said:IO Error [Errno 13] Permission denied. I'm clueless as to what's going on - can anyone help me out?

I just uploaed the 02-08-1999 Ottawa show to the tracker. It was a great show.

Unfortunately I was not able to move the database to the new server, so all accounts will have to be re-created. I will keep the other site going for a while until everyone finishes their downloads.

As an incentive, I'm in the process of creating a torrent for my DVD of "Supergroup" at Golfapalooza - featuring members of Our Lady Peace and Doctor, as well as Gord Sinclair - which will be up before 10:00pm Eastern.
