Mav, where do I find something like that? Love to have it on my end.
What browser do you use? I use IE 7ish with google tool bar. I have an form auto fill out button that usually gets most regular fields - I use it for testing forms mostly - but it is good for this type of thing too. I think I had to format my phone number differently.
I also use google bookmarks, take your booksmarks where ever you go, s well as gmail. Cause i'm a bit of a geek.
Thanks MAv, I have IE7 too but not with the toolbar. I'll look into that thanks.

Thanks MAverick and the band for the opportunity for another great show.
My goal, so everyone knows, which is probably obvious, but I'll state it anyway, is to keep imrpoving the way ticket sales are done on our end, and I think that we're almost there . . . not quite, but almost
So I am pleased to see that for the most part, this was a pretty seemless exercise. Ticket distribution is obvioulsy not on my side, so if I can get you there easily and fairly with few hassles, then I have accomplished what I have set out to do.
MAv.
MAv, as a one man show I think you do a great job. As I re-read this thread, now home from work. It's clear the pre-sale was a great success. Not having to reload the page, must have been a breath of fresh air. Keep it up MAv. It was frustrating, but definably a step in the right direction.
Go on you for admitting, a "mistake" I view it as "a lack resources" where there could be system in place to test the buying process before tickets go on sale, however; as the ticketing system (ticketmaster, kingstonrsec.com/ et. al.) is a 3rd party some negotiation would need to be facilitated.
Thanks, this had nothing to do with resources. I really just didn't think at the time to test my date setting after I removed one line of code. My bad.
Man it's been a long time since I really posted a lot here, it's really great to see that Mav. is still running things, I think we really are lucky as fans to have such a great opportunity to communicate to the band.
Just got my tickets. I'll be there with some first timers.

Stephen, in the house
I'll be there with 2 first timers also...should be a blast
12mins to public sale, gonna try for some floors. Screw you work deadlines, it'll have to wait for 15 minutes.
Just got Floor1 Row 2 S5-6, yippee. Gonna have to sell my others now.
It's a piss-off that the public on sale gets me better tickets than the presale.
chris Wrote:It's a piss-off that the public on sale gets me better tickets than the presale.
that didnt happen with me..
(at 10:01 i searched for best available and got section 111 row 9)
my seats from the pre-sale were section 104 row 7
i went back to search again and it appears as if all tickets except for singles are now sold out
that was DAMN fast!
Alas I am studying for finals and completely forgot about the public onsale this morning. If anybody has an extra pair I would be interested in taking them off your hands...
Yup, thought I would check too. A few singles seem to be available, but that's it..........
Makes me wonder how the split up was between pre-sale and public sale?? Seems like most tickets were sold during the pre-sale...........
I got FLR 2, Row 9 from presale.
I had FLR 2, Row 4 from public onsale - didn't buy 'em, just wanted to check.
This confirms that the best seats are not released through the presale.
Worked out ok for me today, I got Floor 2, Row 1, Seat 11.
Nick
Edit: Crap, I just realized I used the "print at home" method. Printed on it says, "this ticket is not trasferable". I wonder if that is correct. I live far away and if I can't make it to the show I won't be able to sell this ticket to someone on this board? Lame...
Why do they have an option in the drop-down to select 0 tickets?
I'll likely have a set to see in section 105, but I want to make sure none of my buddies don't want to go. I'll post on this board if I'm selling the others.
God I love me some Hip.
