I really, really hope that the new barn brings the picture of the Queen from the Memorial over. At my formal during 4th year at Queen's, I looked up at to the photo and said to my partner at the time, "now that's why I'm happy the prom was here."

She shook her head, cursed a little, and headed for the bar. Which pretty much sums up a lot of our relationship.

Less than two weeks. I'm completely stoked. Merchant for the pre-show?

The Queen needs to be moved. And The Merchant sounds like a plan.

Apparently its been named 'K-Rock Centre'.

Any word yet on what the rear stage seats are going to be like?

I lost my tickets in an unfortunate computer mishap when they first went on sale -- damn Ticketmaster and its 2:00 timer. Anyway, I'm in town this weekend visiting the folks and I was planning on meeting up with some friends at the Lone Star. If you exit the new "K-ROCK Centre" facing towards the lake (Ontario St.), head right (west) for a couple blocks and Lone Star is on the left side of the street. In summer, their patio is amazing.

Just in case anyone's up for some post-show drinking. I know tonight's going to be a killer show. I hope someone's recording.

I was relegated to the bleachers but did manage to hop the glass, balance my way across the boards, jump to the floor and snag Johnny's setlist.

I was with three buddies who were first timers. They loved it and couldn't believe Elwood Blues joined the boys on stage. One guy even called his dad: "you're not gonna believe this!"

We went to Kingston's only strip club afterwards, and they played the Hip between dancers.
