Oh my shit, those are 4 of my favorite 6 or 7 bands. I cannot believe that's the actual line-up, but man i hope it is. The festival is so much fun anyway, imagine adding these 4 acts.

If this is official, I'm thinking about digging in deep and flying back. I had been planning a visit back to the Island in October...but if they play this summer, it's that much more of an icing to go earlier. That plus the summer, family, friends.....and so on.
I wish Kim Green would hurry up and announce it. I haven't bought tickets yet as I'm still getting rumors of bands... Even Cheryl Crow was mentioned to me.

I am 99.9% sure it is true since personally receiving an email that the Hip, Sam Roberts, Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays and others are confirmed. Tickets won't go onsale for a few weeks as far as I know.

Yeah it's definetely true, and the website still says Mid-May for the "official annoucement"...so generally tickets go on sale 2 or 3 days after the final line-up is released.

Oh by the way things are sounding it's certain. But when it comes to putting down $500 plane ticket it's good to have the official word. I am setting aside time and money though...

Very smart move. You don't have to grab tickets in the first day or two anyway, like you might at a regular Toronto Hip show or something. This isn't a concert that sells out in a day or two. I got a three day pass on the second night of the event actually. The first night I wasn't interested in the bands anyway and I think it was cheaper to get a three day pass than tickets to the last two nights anyway.
So I enjoyed the Trews, Sam Roberts (until the rain), and then Live the next night. The only problem with this FOL thing is IT ALWAYS RAINS HARD ON AT LEAST ONE NIGHT.05-04-2006, 03:03 PM
A few more concert annoucements today for C'Town, Jesse Cook at the Confed Centre, Carolynn Dawn Johnson at teh Confed Centre, and the Barenaked Ladies at, i'm almost postive it said the CDP.
