yeah really, i was bashing it at work today & one of the guys came up around my area and said "yeah man im goin to the july 2nd show"
i just kinda looked away (if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all!!)
but yeah i was thinkin about the day ill be gettin the tickets 'yes can i have a double double & a ticket to THE HIP!!!"
OK, i was planning on going to the superstore tomorrow to pick up tickets, but i guess i'll just go the credit card route then. The only thing i hate about that is not having the tickets in your hand until June 30th.
I just picked up my ticket today at Holder's Card and Gift Shop. The lady there said there were a lot of individual tickets being sold for The Hip, as opposed to passports for both concerts. Gee, I wonder why.

Don't worry Kleh...I'll take care of you!
I'm gonna check around tommorow morning after work and I'll get one for you too!

- Concerts go rain or shine. No refunds if concert is cancelled due to weather conditions that interfere with the safety of the artists.
Heh. Heh.
Don't think we'll have a problem with this....
Ahh....That was Rock n Roll! (Thinking back on the last Sam concert there)

Good point. If that rainstorm wasn't enough to "interfere with the safety of the artist" when Sam Roberts played, I'm guessing we'd have to get a full blown twister for the shows to be cancelled.

I'm looking forward to seeing Roberts live again. I was there in '04, but left after the 2nd song & went to Wendys. Thought about heading back, but the walk to the car was enough, so we headed for home, and man the rain on the way back was insane...i was glad i didn't stick around

You should have, it was a hell of a show.
Rain or shine, i'm sticking aroud this year

And i just found out my brother-in-law is having his company golf tournament (Down East Auto & Marine) July 2nd, so at least it's something to look forward to on that day.
I got my ticket! My brother and I are going to this. My 6th show. His 4th. I could almost be one of those folks that list the shows they've been to.

under a month to go !!
still ticket-less but will resolve this next payday
you should be fine Kleh. The Festival of Lights doesn't sell out quickly. Or it hasn't in the past. Hard to say with the most kick-ass band ever.

i sure hope so, damn money, just no way i can swing it now after gettin back from toronto and rent being due tomorrow
so maybe we should be discussing the meet up again? starting to run outta time hehe

Yeah, it's still good. I talked to a fine young lass today who said there were still "lots left". I proceeded to ask her what "lots" meant and she laughed a very attractive laugh and emphatically said "lots, lots". I then asked how many tix in total will be sold and she said she didn't know but no concert on this site has EVER sold out. I don't know how true that is. Looks like we still have some time to nail down tix.
