SoylentGreg heard them play Sherpa during the Pittsburgh sound check and then they played it in the show, so you never know.

And what the hell, i wore my red Magnetic Hill Hip shirt, and the dye was coming out of it when it rained. The white tshirt i had on under it is all red, and the top of my shorts are red.

It's worth it. You just saw a living legend on the stage, performing his heart out for a mediocore crowd (if you ask me).

wow gord was electric tonite!!! what a show!

and i almost choked when they opened with blow at high dough, i was like OMG! unexpected!

Ijust posted the Matt Mays + El Torpedo and Sam Roberts Band setlists over in the show reviews section.

The show fucking rocked. It was my first live Hip experience, and it didn't dissapoint. I must say my favorite was when he was laying on his amp during Last Of The Unplucked Jems, and then awoke. Hilarious. 100th Meridian, or Blow at High Dough, and his rant about Stephen Harper during Grace, Too were also amazing.
Sam also rocked. New drummer is kickass.

Just got back from PEI. Glad you survived the mob Steve. I had more punches and pushes trying to escape the crowd and had my glasses kicked off by a crowd surfer. I looked back and you disappeared.

Unpacking begins. Rory, hope the show came out ok.
