Bands should form together to prevent this from happening. Why don't you make it that tickets go on sale the day of the show and you must buy them using face recognition software. You instantly get an email with your face on the ticket and you must show up to get in with that ticket to prove it was you who bought the tickets.

I am going to assume he's on this board reading through all of this, or at least The Hip facebook page, because he seems to be the kind of person who revels in the misery of others.
Beyond his gloating and callous nature, he did say one thing of interest -- Ticketmaster don't care about scalping, have no reason to change, and financially benefit with their own ticket broker that all share listings anyways. His system is bypassing "choose all the pictures with food", grabbing tickets based on their location code versus "choose your seat", and going straight to a purchase page. So while we're trying to figure if that's a storefront, or choosing all the mountains, this system has already made the purchase.
