My year just got exponentially better!

Plaskett, u2, Ryan f-ing Adams whom I've never seen before and likely kd Lang. Sooooo stoked for Ryan.
Rural Alberta Advantage, Wednesday @ Commonwealth in Calgary. Stoked to see them in a bar (the old Warehouse no less!)
the sonics in cleveland
anthrax in columbus
Matt Good at NAC in Ottawa
Joel Plaskett at NAC
Jenn Grant at NAC
Father John Misty in Toronto

The NAC Music series has been great this year -- guess part of the 150 year celebration.

I was very underwhelmed by their new release TBH...

Maybe it'll be a grower.
Matthew Good twice this week. I must be getting close to the 20's in the number of times i've seen him.

Saw him last Friday in London. It was one of the better times I have seen him. He was in a great mood. The time before that....not so much! haha

Yeah, he's hit or miss. I saw him in Oshawa once and he didn't speak once during the show. It was kinda awkward.

According to twitter he went to the hospital after the Sarnia show? But I don't know what happened. He didn't say. Apparently he's fine though.

Saw Matt's Ottawa show last night. Amazing show, Beautiful Midnight is one of those Canadian classic albums with a mix of "hits" and some deeper cuts that I really like and was glad to see live (Born to Kill, Boy and His Machine Gun, Failing....). I've seen him now likely about a dozen times, and have never seen a bad show. I appreciate his middle aged attitude. I also like when he has Stu Cameron on guitar, great player.

The light show was amazing, and while he was taunting his light guy about some stage lights he mentioned it's the same guy who did The Hip's lighting on the last tour. Usually I have seats a bit closer, but this time opted for front row of the balcony and really appreciated the lighting.
