Have seen Gord and The Sadies twice already, going to see them again this coming Saturday then Alice Cooper on Haloween night in Kitchener and then John Fogerty in Hamilton in November.
Brad Paisley in Kingston in November. Seen him a couple times before, never seems to disappoint. He might be country, but hands down the best guitarist I have ever seen live.

Been on a bit of a country kick over the past couple years. Not sure if its my age, or what, but seems the country station is on in my car more than anything else anymore.
Going to X-Fest tomorrow at Fort Calgary. Jack White, Death Cab for Cutie, Stars, and of course the much anticipated reunion of The Smalls. Should be a good one!

Had a really fun day at X-Fest yesterday. It was very surreal to see the legendary Smalls back together. I thought they sounded damn good for a band playing their first show together in 13 years. Death Cab's set was fantastic as usual, and a little bittersweet knowing that Chris Walla is leaving the band after this tour. Also impressive were a rockin' group from Kentucky called Sleeper Agent who played an excellent set early in the day. I'd never heard of them before yesterday, and they completely won me over as well as the small crowd gathered at the front. But the highlight of the entire day was Mr. Jack f'n White who absolutely stole the show. The dude is a consummate pro, and his performance kicked all kinds of ass. What a brilliant artist.

I can't make any of these unfortunately. But damn... what a run of '90's Canadian rock. :thumb:

Caught the Pixies the other night which was great and just grabbed some tickets to Death From Above 1979 for the show in January.
Looks like I'm buying tickets to The Pretty Reckless in MTL on Nov. 1st.

Not sure what to expect, I'm not that into them, but am going with friends.
