i tried that once and it just wasnt the same, id consider it if i was going to shows every week or something..but that wont happen in this city.

I got tickets to the Foos in Ottawa next wednesday, but don't think I can go. Floors but they're GA so that'll suck balls. Depends on the next few days I guess whether I go or not.

Saw Flogging Molly with Reverend Peyton's Damn Band. Molly put a pretty good show on and was impressed with RPDB as it was a 3 piece but with a washboard.

Next is Fu Manchu on the 25th and then Clutch 23rd of April

Not going for a couple of months, but I got Nick Cave tickets through yesterday!

I'm guestlisted for Vampire Weekend in May too, should be good.

Drive By Truckers next wednesday in Toronto!! can't wait

Saw Flogging Molly with RPDB on St. Patricks Evening here in Tempe. This is the 4th year in a row for a FM show on St. Patricks day and it was like a giant karaoke show with everyone singing along with the likes of "Drunken Lullaby" etc.

Great time had by all.

BTW Mikeysaint, hope all is well in Atlanta after that crazy tornado.

Went to see the Foo Fighters tonight and a Rush concert broke out in the middle of the show...It was pretty damn cool.

I feel your pain. I don't think the Drive-By Truckers have ever played in Calgary, and it's a damn shame. I'd bet they could easily fill a venue like Mac Hall if they ever bothered to tour out this way. I'm going to be out of town when the Queens are here, which sucks. But I did get Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tickets for their show at the 'Dome in August! I'm also seeing Wintersleep on April 12th at Mac Hall, so all is not lost in Cowtown.

But I'm still pissed about the Foos not playing here.
