Hey Guys
Being that the hip are playing covers at arena shows
I thought it would be nice to start a thread of what we would all love to see covered
Sorry if this topic has already been posted
I would love to see the hip play Tangle Up in Blues by Dylan
"Limelight" would be my wish. That little snippet is just not enough
summerside of life, or pretty much any other lightfoot tune...
I would have to agree Limelight would be excellent live, especailly in a canadian venue.
HIP ME BABY ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!!

They've done it before, and did it at Holiday Jam... so I wouldn't be surprised if this made an appearance.

It would be cool to hear this live as their studio version is great.
the MonkeyMan
OR

I thought it was Alan Jackson
Gord has sung Neil covers before and quite well I might add, so Neil covers would be a natural for the band. "Downtown" by Neil Young is just the perfect song for The Hip to cover. "There's a place called downtown, where the hippies all go, and they dance the Charleston, and they do the limbo......." Oh man, "Downtown" could have fit nicely on IBE.
I think anything would be great by black sabbath, led zeppelin.
Stairway to heaven.....maybe?????
