fucker Wrote:no, many feminists antagonize everything that doesnt co-exsist with their opinions and ideals. women are not labeled as angry, men are. men are rapists and wife beaters and can't even raise their voice with out being "abusive".
just because a feminist wants to say she isn't angry doesn't mean its always true.

Not to be an asshole (even though I am) but I've met tons of different people in my drug-fuelled journeys and every single feminist i ever met was an angry, bald lesbian or was highly confused, called themselves feminists and didn't do anything feminists do (yeah, i know; I don't know what they do either)... they just sat around in coffeehouses and bitched about men.... I've been yelled at on several occasions for no apparent reason...lol ... I think women actually have it better nowadays than men do...

the problem with ani difrannco is she thinks she is "fighting the good fight" and "fooling everyone" but she (and many others) have only good things to say about women, but many bad things to say about men.
anyone with a brain and a y-cromezone can see the anger.

That may be a problem with radical feminism, but not feminism as a whole. Often times, since it makes interesting press (or whatever other reason) feminism, is seen as this RADICAL, awful, angry, angsty set of ideals and beliefs. It's about equality. It's not (always) about homosexuality, or non-violence. It is about women (in the best case) making $.70 to the dollar compared to men. It's about exisisting in a *culture* that is male dominant and wanting balance. I'll defer to the elloquence of Rebecca West. ""I have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is; I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat." it's the issue of feminism becoming less of a legit force in society and the feminist's that make money (i.e. women's studies profs, authors, artists) and doing the initial preaching are threatend of losing this. many false ideals are passed down to women and theories created to shut down anyone with an opposing opinion of radical feminism. feminist also hide many mens issues that guys have to help their agends or causes. there are too many contradicting ideas in feminism because it's not about equality, it's about empowerment. i feel sorry for people that buy into all feminism have to offer.

women have opressions, but so do men. feminism needs a facelift. god forbid we have REAL problems.

those people are called FEMINAZIS and are very stupid
every feminazi thinks they are a feminist.
jenna...that is retoric from radical feminism. they will always try and dispell the opposition. if feminism cared about balance, they would care about men.

im sorry about your myth about women making less....its false. that doesnt count for the fact that....

men work more hours a week than women on averge....they dont count that.

women retire at an earier age (i.e. kids) while men stay working....and are able to climb the corporate ladder

many single women make tips at a higher rate than men. there are more waitresses and even.......strippers. those stats are not in there.

work in any union and there is no sexual discrimination. infact women get the easier jobs and get promoted quicker to "keep women in the company"

there are others, trust me.

don't believe things just because a feminist says it. it is a twisted stat. feminism would be great if it wasn't full of cliches and actually spoke the truth and not one sided retoric.

i think at the end of the day, we are on two topics. but, as a male, i can not put up with some man-hating bitch yelling at me about my sexism and my natural violent nature toward women. we are all dumb, we are liars, we are all rapists. wrong, feminism has gone too far and need to slow down. ignoring half of the population is no way to get points across.

ifeminist.com is simply the alternative route for anyone who has been scared away because of the association of feminism with radical acts....it has become a game of labels. A person may believe in feminism, but would rather call himself or herself an individualist. Feminist.org may encompass radical feminism, but that is not it's only aim.

i'm sorry there are so many ignorant women that have gone through life with only one side of the story (being the sexist bullshit from angry cows thats is modern feminism). many men on an "average joe" level are sick of the lies and bullshit. we are not stupid or villians. many women are alienated also by feminism because it screams bloody murder. i feel sorry for anyone that thinks women are oppressed and men are not.

ifeminism is for people that care about equality. sorry if the feminst community is threatended by them.

everything you've said (like most feminist wannabes) have been reproduced ideas from feminazi authors.

radical feminism is wrong and sexist and will take a new generation to get rid of women's studies, to let fathers have rights, for a man to defend himself in court against a woman, for women to actually be accused of something when they do things wrong. feminism does nothing for equality.
How could you ever think that women only know one side of the story? Since birth we are raised in a male dominated culture. I'm nt saying that this is good, bad, or otherwise, but what I am saying is that the average girl is raised to think (consciously and subconsciously) that she is inferior. Physically, in most instances, this is true. But girls across the world are taught to see themselves as the lesser sex, the lesser half, and as something that doesn't quite measure up. Girls are still discouraged to continue their education and to become *independent*. It is impossible to say that there are women who only see one side of the story. As for your comment regarding rape in the Kobe thread, it is clear that you do not understand the fundamentals of the accusation. Kicking a man in the groin would be abuse not rape. Men (much more frequently than women) are the aggressors in rape cases. This perpetuates the idea of violence. I'm not saying it's right or fair, but it is *true* that men are often the aggressors in abusive situations (rape or otherwise). Not all men are rapists, or stupid, or villians, but all women are targets for that, and it needs to change.

I totally agree with you it's about equality and I do not consider myself included in the "feminist" movement. I just like for us to all be equal regardless of the differences we have whether it be size, race, sex, sexual preference, religion, disablilty, nationality, etc. I like to consider myself an "equalist". Though I think no matter what there will always be some differences in life. My dream would be a equal world.
girls are raised to think.."boys are stupid...throw rocks at them" they are told on commercials "you're worth it" "strong enough for a woman" and"strong and beautiful, just like you"
i call bullshit on that one....it's the guys that are treated as inferior.

also name one women that ever went to jail for raping a man.
women are not target for anything by men and feminism labels the shit out of men. thats where kobe comes in. the fact that a woman can acuse a man and him be dragged through hell when he didn't do it is crap. she should be put in prison.

to me getting kicked in the balls...is rape. as far as the feminist definition is concerned.

feminist majority.........WOWOWWW EQUALITY BABY.

THE site is filled with retoric and hate propaganda. equality = both sides equal. that site labels men. fuck that site and everone that goes to it.
classy.

like, oh my god! you're such a loser.

....you know i speak the truth.
feminists are so used to walking over men that they think they are the only correct option. if these useless trash feminazis would stop being sexist and see the male point of view at least some of the time, they people wouldn't get worked up.

also, dismissing ifeminist is an easyway out for many feminists because they hate men and dont want average joe to have a voice. fuck that. feminists create cliches against everything that threatends them.
