Listening to Afterdark on CBC a few weeks back and learned of Lydia Ainsworth's "Darling of the Afterglow" album. I've had it in pretty heavy rotation since.

If there is ever an album that MUST be listened to on vinyl with headphones on....this is it.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Somewhere in Afrika (1982). What a jewel!

I'm of the belief that there is no better "sounding" album in existence. Despite all the advances in recording technology over the past 45 years, this one has yet to be topped.

54-40's self-titled 1986 release. It's been in heavy rotation ever since I picked up a copy on vinyl from The Record Center in Ottawa. 'I Wanna Know' is in contention for my song of the month!
