Finding myself listening to 2011's Codes and Keys by Death Cab For Cutie. This has always been a favourite of mine ever since first hearing it. Probably haven't listened to it for about a year, but I'm remembering how great this release is. I'm convinced Death Cab keeps getting better with every release still to this day. They have some huge albums early in their career, but what these guys have progressed to is my favourite Death Cab.

Great album, and one of my favorite bands. Word on the street is they've been in the studio since October of last year working on their next album. I believe it's coming out later this year.
Can't believe this is 17 years old now. Great CD from start to finish.

Time out of Mind is fantastic, I can't believe it's that old either...
One of the first Dylan albums I ever owned!

This has been in heavy rotation the last few weeks:

Any other fans of this album?
May be my favourite Sloan record... but maybe my favourite is The Double Cross...
Anyways, they're both Gold!
Found this one going through my milk crated vinyl - goes back to the good ol' university days.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Somewhere in Afrika (1982). What a jewel!

That's excellent news. I heard the Postal Service shows were cool, but I was slightly disappointed when their big announcement wasn't a new album.

I may have posted about Aja somewhere in the past, but holy hell this album is still in heavy rotation for me. Very tempted to seek out tickets for their tour this summer.
I'm discovering how amazing most Steely Dan really is, album by album... but Aja is so ridiculously amazing to me, I doubt I will ever think there's anything stronger in their discog.

But obviously Can't Buy A Thrill is #2...? Right...?

One of the greatest albums ever made by anyone. Period.

That album cover reminds me of The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking...
Which is an album is should probably rediscover.

Plans is still a personal favourite of mine. Great band. Really enjoyed hearing them in NOTL in 2012.

How is this not considered a masterpiece? Not one bad cut on this one!
