I've recently been ripping cassettes to FLAC via Audacity and I can't believe some of the sh*t I listened to in the 80's-90's...and I still listen to it. So, while ripping, this is a sample of what I've been diggin' recently.

Deicide - Deicide
I almost though I was going to burst into flames and be pulled into the depths of hell. Damn, this is an intense record...err tape. I almost gave myself whiplash.

Glenn Danzig - Black Aria
What a fantastic and dark, gothic, classical-esque piece of work. No singing, no guitars. Several of the songs are inspired from Milton's "Paradise Lost".

Green Jello - Three Little Pigs single
That's right - thats Jell-o, not Jell-y. Before they (were legally obligated to) changed the name. God I feel old.

Ratt - Out of the Cellar
A great album from a great hair band.

Scorpions - Best of Rockers & Ballads

You are so from Buffalo.
And probably the same age as me. :thumb:
ah the Jello. Another "fine" band from Buffalo. Deicide started in Niagraa Falls then went to Tampa. Deicide and Cannibal Corpse at the river Rock soooo many years ago. I miss the River Rock. wasn't big at all but had great energy. Well that and I was in my late teens/early 20's so the place could have sucked but was great at the time.

Wow, that's going back. Remember the Skyroom downtown? I went to my first concert ever there. I was 14 and it was "The Day of Death" and ran about 12 hours. Man that was a good time. I forgot Deicide started in the Falls and I'm sorry, but Corpse isn't the same without Barnes. He he he. Good to hear from you Mark, its been a while.

I took this out the other night for the first time in a long time, and I forgot how damn brilliant it is.
Especially the opener of "16 Shells".

Quite simply one of the greatest Canadian albums ever recorded.

bought a pristine copy of this for £1 last month (and got an original Let It Be vinyl for £5 too)!
