I voted for Fox.
Confusedcratch:
A.G.Bell, no doubt. Suzuki is brilliant, Trudeau was a lovable oddball, and Wayne Gretzky kept us all entertained...but for sheer impact on today's Canada, nobody could touch Bell.
Terry Fox for all the reasons I've mentioned in the 304 other "Greatest Canadian" threads over the past few months. Smile
The fact that Celine Dion made it into the top 100 is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.

Oh and for the record, I voted for Terry as well.
Cherry's mention is pretty lame too...

Agreed.

Definitely... made the internet possible too.
A wealth of knowledge at our fingertips any time of the day or night?
That is one monumental advance in the entire world's intelligence.

I love hockey and all..but Don Cherry and Gretzky don't belong on the list..What makes them that great to be on the list anyways? It's not like they did so much for the county, or even the world like say...Banting did.
During the actual voting process, I voted for Gord Downie, but unfortunately he did not make the Top Ten. I shall vote for Macdonald.
It's def between Trudeau and Fox. Two amazing canadians.
My vote goes with AGB. Come on, without the telephone, we'd be no where today!
Bell really isn't Canadian though. He was born in Scotland, moved to Ontario and then settled in Boston.
