one that stands out to me is Blind Melon's "Soup", a far superior album to their debut...Galaxie, Skinned, 2x4..great songs

How about In Utero? I think that's Nirvana's best album besides Unplugged which doesn't really count.

any dandy warhols album is overlooked..it's too bad they use their songs so frequently in commercials...got to meet the band one night before a show in vancouver, and they're really cool guys(and one gal..who loves to play naked...YES!!) they invited me and this girl i was trying to impress to party with them after the show...i thought they were full of shit, and after the encore we were right at the stage, and the drummer looked at us, and motioned his head indicating backstage..had a few drinks, smokes and talked music until about 4 in the morning backstage at the now gone Starfish Room...sorry.had to tell the tale...

right on. Tis too bad about the commercials. I was supposed to go to that Vancouver show but couldn't make it cause of finals. Haven't had another chance to see them yet.

Doesn't Catraxx kick serious ass! I use it all the time. My collection is so big though, it would take forever to input every aspect of every CD.

I'm really not a fan of One Hot Minute. I mean I love the Chilis and I love Dave Navarro, but I just don't like their sound with him there... given that I know how they can sound with Frusciante.
I love Album of the Year, but I'm not sure if it's that overlooked.
I'll definitely second Youthanasia (wicked, wicked album) and the Pumpkins' Gish and Adore.
