Since the Hip haven't mentioned anything about this yet, I think it's safe to assume that we're all gonna wake up on Friday to a whole lotta nothing. Hopefully we'll at least get something official from the Hip on Friday in regards to a street date, and maybe some pre-order information. Knowing how slow this band usually operates when it comes to album roll-outs, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we have to wait until the summer to get our hands on it. I've learned over the years to never to get my hopes up when it comes to this band. Remember Live from the Vault and the Hip Club? So disappointing.

See I'm thinking the other way on this.... If this is a scam , wouldn't the band release some kind of statement saying "hey folks that isn't us" , in order to protect the fans from spending money on something they believe may be from The hip but actually is not ??

To pre-order or not to pre-order? I guess it's a moot point at this point — all will be revealed (or not) tomorrow.

Pretty sure that was a joke. I'm not finding anything about it online, and we're still getting complete radio silence from the Hip. Although a b-sides album would be fantastic, and it would certainly be something cool to tide us over until the new studio album is released...if it ever actually ever gets released, that is. I'd say it's time for the Hip to finally man up and let us know what's going on.

I gotta say though, I've enjoyed all the amateur sleuthing that's been happening in this thread. It's definitely livened up the forum.
