From the email announcing the Calgary dates:

With the purchase of a ticket, The Hip are offering their fans the option to pre-order their highly anticipated 12th studio album, We Are The Same, due out April 7th, 2009. With the purchase of the album, Hip fanatics will also receive a bonus live album, Live From The Vault: Volume 4, that is not available in stores.
I was just listening to Volume 2 and wishing for another volume or two........ or 18
Do we know what show LftV IV is yet? I have a feeling it will be the K-rock show from last year, but I really hope it's another mid 90s show.

Any news on when this will be available for regular download?
Oh man, this will be such a sick release :thumb:
MAv, half of Vol. 4 is showing up in the Gift Shop. It can't be purchased, but I assume it's not supposed we're not supposed to see that there yet.
For Volume 5 (if there is one), I would love to see for sale / hear a show from the Phantom Power tour (98/99).

Agreed. I saw 4 shows on that tour and all of them were amazing. The best was seeing them at this little fesival just outside of San Francisco in this town called Novato. The Hip headlined a show that featured mostly local unknown bands from the Bay area. The event was put on by a local community college and it was pretty small compared to most festivals I've been to. By the time the Hip went on, there were maybe 500 people in front of the stage. And that's probably an exaggeration. For my first cross-border Hip show, it was an unbelievable experience. Kinda like seeing them at someone's backyard barbecue. Setlist:

10/17/98, Stafford Lake Park, Novato, CA:

Fully Completely
Save The Planet
Grace, Too
Courage
Membership
Ahead By A Century
Something On
Bobcaygeon
Nautical Disaster
The Luxury
Fireworks
Gift Shop
Poets
New Orleans Is Sinking

encore:
Springtime In Vienna
At The Hundredth Meridian
I'd love to see any of the IVL theatre tour shows released. Specifically this one:

Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium: Edmonton, AB: Canada: 09/25/2002
1: Silver Jet
2: My Music At Work
3: New Orleans Is Sinking
4: Fully Completely
5: Chagrin Falls
6: Use It Up
7: Courage (For Hugh Maclennan)
8: Don't Wake Daddy
9: It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken
10: Poets
11: Inevitability Of Death
12: The Dark Canuck
13: At The Hundredth Meridian
14: Ahead By A Century
15: The Last of the Unplucked Gems
16: The Dire Wolf
17: Gift Shop
18: Little Bones

19: Lake Fever
20: Are You Ready
21: Fire In The Hole

Any of the ones with the Gems/Wolf segue would make me a very happy boy, though.

I've got the previous two nights at the Southern on DVD... but not this show.
If there's a Vol. 5 I would want to see one of the An Evening With shows from 2000. There's a couple of them on the tracker (Ottawa, which I was at, and Syracuse). I love this concert format and want to hear more from this tour.

can't wait for this tour :jump
