Just finishing up my first listen (Little Bones playing right now) and I love this album. What a good concert! I especially loved Titanic and Yawning. There's one snare hit in Yawing, about half way through that sounds like a cannon went off or something. I had to rewind to hear it again, it sounded sooo good.

It's a great show. My favorite period for the Hip is up to TATH. Hearing these old school concerts are amazing!
That said, considering these releases are just trickling out, and there are only 4 so far, I wish this was not the show that was released.
This show is basically a shorter version of the Halifax show (LFTV1). All but 2 tracks are on the Halifax release (large sections are even in the same order). Not a big surprize, since it's part of the same tour (Day for Night) and the 2 shows were taped less then 2 months apart.
LFTV2 was in support of IVL. LFTV3 was in support of WC. That Night in Toronto was also part of the World Container Tour.
I wish they would start by releasing concerts from different album eras, as the shows will be quite different (ie: shows from TATH, PP, M@W, IBE, and WATS (obviously need to wait for a show to be performed before this one can be released).
I like the variety of venues-big arenas in Canada, outdoor festivals (they should release one from ARA), and small odd foreign venues (ie: I saw them at an amphetheater at the local zoo about 10 years ago).
If they opened the vault (like Pearl Jam did), then shows from the same tour would be great. But this choice selection seems--odd.
That said, it's a 5 star show and recording!

Oh, if you're wondering what the rant is called, I think it's just referred to as the "If you're freaked, I'm fucked." rant.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem...but for some reason both the encore songs (YoS and LB) are making skipping noises throughout the whole song. I can't even listen to them and I'm dying to hear YoS. I'm pretty sure i wasn't the one who scratched it, I immediately took it out of the case and preceded to play it. On the first play, it made that scratching sound. Im just wondering...is this happening for anyone else?
Should I email them and have them send another one?...or should I just let it slide (its only two songs after all).
How are these songs by the way? Are they really worth it?......Bah, i really want to hear 'em.

I finally got this, and wow... it's amazing. I love WAtS and all, but this has been in my CD player more often. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the packaging. I would have been happier with a quick Digipak, similar to the Dave Matthews Band's LiveTrax series.

I completely agree. I was going to pre-order the new album just for that Vault show, but it's almost identical to volume 1. Different tours would be ideal.
When did Pearl Jam open their vault? They've done the official bootlegs for their last several tours, but live stuff from prior to that era is hard to come by... a fan club only disc in a cardboard sleeve, one random download, and now a vinyl-only early show. Hardly opening things up. Unless you were referring to the bootlegs?

As well as opening the vaults, how about releasing the latest shows for download shortly after. The Black Crowes did this on their last tour and it was great to be able to buy the Massey show from the soundboard 3 days after. There was also an option to buy individual tracks, which would be great on this tour with all these different acoustic sets.
