that sucks for u that pre ordered. i went to hmv and had the album in my hand goin to the clerk and luckily i spotted the fan pack at the last second and seen the lvf4 on it. needless to say i grabbed that baby like lightning. havent had a chance to listen to any of lfv4 yet
my preorder with the lfv4 arrived here yesterday (in London)...I'll be listening today...will review later!!!
Just picked it up last night from HMV in the Fan Pack... So far it sounds like great show... Gordie is in fine form.
still havent had much time to listen to lfv4 yet but i did burn a mixed cd and happened to put the last of the unplucked gems on it and when i was headin to work i was delighted by hearing the second vers+chorus from blonde solid ending this song...that was really cool
Solid show :thumb:

Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium: Edmonton, AB: Canada: 09/25/2002
1: Silver Jet
2: My Music At Work
3: New Orleans Is Sinking
4: Fully Completely
5: Chagrin Falls
6: Use It Up
7: Courage (For Hugh Maclennan)
8: Don't Wake Daddy
9: It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken
10: Poets
11: Inevitability Of Death
12: The Dark Canuck
13: At The Hundredth Meridian
14: Ahead By A Century
15: The Last of the Unplucked Gems
16: The Dire Wolf
17: Gift Shop
18: Little Bones

19: Lake Fever
20: Are You Ready
21: Fire In The Hole

Any of the ones with the Gems/Wolf segue would make me a very happy boy, though.

I was in the front row for this show! The Gems/Dire tandem was awesome.
I haven't had the time to keep up with all the threads recently, so this may have been stated elsewhere, but does anyone else wish Vol. 4 could have also been released on vinyl?

Add that and the vinyl We Are The Same with a 12" record-crate & t-shirt, and you'd really have one hell of a Fan-Pack :thumb:
This is a pretty decent show, though it's weird hearing grace, too and nautical with NO rants/added lyrics, etc. Also, At The Hundredth has no lyrical input during the midsong jam....Still a cool snapshot of the band at that point in time, just as DFN was taking off....here's hoping this is followed up by a show from '96 and a show from '00 (in honour of the band's return to the "evening with" format).
I'm surprised at the lack of talk about this. I'm almost more excited to get this than WATS (but only because I've already heard WATS a bunch). Can't wait until my pre order gets here. :jump
Got my pre-order today, and needless to say LFTV4 is unreal. One of the greatest live CD's I have. That version of NOIS breathed life into a song I thought was dead to me , and Titanic Terrarium made me shit my pants. I wish they'd do limited CD pressings for all the LFTV shows, the sleeves don't seem all that expensive to make and if they were limited to a few thousand copies they'd fly off the shelves.

How does "Yawning or Snarling" sound? I've always wanted to hear a nice clear live version of that song that wasn't from some crappy audience recording. Speaking of which, wasn't this supposed to be available to purchase as a dowload from the Gift Shop by now?? I could've sworn the band mentioned that in one of their e-mails. I figured they'd have it for sale on the same day as the new album, but there's no sign of it on the Hip's site. I'd much rather pay $9.99 for the download and make my own CD cover than waste $35 on that milk crate package just to get the live album.
Got mine today too, Always wanted to hear this show...In progress... :music

P.S. Yes wish they do a limited pressing, I love the make of the sleeve.

Yawning sounds absolutly rediculous. Gord's vocals are sharp, Sinclair's bass is really heavy (throughout the whole recording his bass sounds unreal), Johnny's drumming is like a friggin thunder storm, Robbie's little fills are slick, and Paul kicks ass.
I am hoping for tomorrow. Most people seem to have their copies in their hands by now that pre-odered. So I am assuming that Atlantic Canada should have theirs by Wednesday (tomorrow).

But by the sounds of it, LFTV4 is pretty decent?
