Gordon Edgar Downie -RIP
#16

Over a year of trying to come to terms with it, over a year of anticipating it any day........still not ready for it.... Sad

To try and look at a positive light, I am so glad he had over a year to see how much he meant to people, and to Canada. The outpouring was something to behold and the MMP tour will be something that goes down in Canadian history books.

RIP Gord, thank you for all you gave to me and being beside me throughout my life. Words will never be able to convey how much you (and the whole band) helped me through good times and bad times. Always there for me.

Devastating.

Thinking of his family, his band mates, his friends... thinking of us.

Rest in peace, Gord. Love you.

Knew this day would come, but hoped it never would. Thank you Gord. For everything - the music, the lyrics, the entertainment, the genuine interest you showed the times I shyly tried to speak to you.

Take care of each other, alright?

Thank you for the entertainment, the songs, the inspiration. Peace be with Gord Downie's family and friends.....and with you sir. Even though I didn't know him (other than one meeting)....IT was a pleasure doing business with you. Every cent I spent on this band (and will spend) was worth it. RIP
