By my reckoning, this was the last “real” thread on alt.music.tragically-hip before it supernovaed into a W******a soliloquarium and then blackholed into a spamfire.

The 'other spot'... Yeah, I suppose they/we have all slowly migrated,
snatched by aliens in the night, anal probed and dumped, dribbling and

Okay, so that's probably a little harsh. [But I'm sure Stepehn Dame was
'one of them' Wink]

To be honest, I've had broadband access for a few months now, so the
thought of venturing in doesn't fill me with quite so much 'you'll never
take me alive' bile as before.

As for the dream, Shelley... It was kinda cool to dream of The Hip, but
it was the stuff of nightmares...

This is my last post on The Hipbase. I won't be replying to this thread. I've had so much fun here and I've made some great friends, too. Thank you Lance for creating and maintaining The Hipbase. Chris & Mark S., thanks for sharing all your audio and video recordings. Many of you other guys have shared with me, too.

Remember to take care of each other. An act of kindness to help a person in their moment of need or an encouraging word to someone who is looking for direction can make a difference. Treat others how you would like to be treated.

The Hip got a nice nod on our local new this morning in Detroit. A space feature on the upcoming premier of "First Man" included some bits of this video and the anchors giving the Hip props! Looks like Sinclair wrote the lyrics and music....
