UPDATE:
2-0 Canada over the U.S.A., first period.
Yikes, make that 3-2 Canada now. The Americans are storming back.
The Americans had it close didn't they but Canada once again re-grouped, got it together and finished in style.
That Canada vs. US game was the most exciting game I've seen yet. Canada killed a 4 on 3 in sudden death overtime and then winning in sudden death shoot outs.
One thing a little different in the shoot out though is the same players can keep shooting round after round.
Go Canada...bring another one home on Friday afternoon.

pretty exciting game, well i watched from the 3rd period onward. It seemed like the shootout would never end. Jonathon Toews was on fire during the shootout though

I know it exists but have only caught a few minutes of it here and there. I didn't catch any of the action today. However, I think it's safe to say that most Canadians are more interested than me.

Looks like it'll be Russia and Canada in the Gold Medal game. Both teams are undefeated so this will make for one hell of a final.
I hadn't watched any of the World Juniors until i tuned in to watch the entire 3rd period, OT, & the shootout in todays Canada/US match, and i'm sure glad i did. It was one of the most dramatic, intense games i've ever watched. Good stuff! I'm looking forward to the final now Friday vs. Russia.
I've watched every game of the tourney so far, and now that I'm back to work, I watched the game online at tsn.ca, on their much hyped broadband service. I was expecting slow speeds, freezing video and crappy picture, but everything was the exact opposite.
It was awesome! I had it in one window, and my "work" in another. Another employee came and told me the score during the third and I said I know i'm watching it!! He loved it! So then we went in the Boardroom and watched the overtime and S/O on a huge projection screen, pretty sweet!!
Thank god for Toews, and Price!!
USA should take the bronze pretty easily.
