i had to take my little cousin to a christina show once, and she really impressed me..i didn't think i would enjoy it at all, but she was really really good

This brings up an idea for another thread - Which celebrity least deserves to be famous?
Ashlee Simpson made me think of that, and off the top of my head she'd get my vote. The only reason she's famous is because she's Jessica Simpson's sister. And the only reason Jessica Simpson is famous is because:
(a) She's dumb
(b) She's got big breasts
a + b + her "conservative Christian values" = music videos that border on soft core porn
Since no one ever cared about Jessica's "music" before that annoying Newlyweds show, no one will ever convince me that she's famous for her "music".
Some others that come to mind:
- Paula Abdul
- Pauly Shore
- Jimmy Fallon

Glad we could clear that up.
No one should have to defend his or her
personal taste in music. You hate AC/DC. I have many friends who hate AC/DC (most of them are women & a few are men). It perplexes me a little, especially amogst those who i know are fans of hard rock, but so what, right?
When someone opines on the
abilities of an artist, however, i think it's fair to say that he or she should be prepared to substantiate that opinion.....
I am going to add John Madden to the list too. He may have once had something of import to say concerning football, but now I'd just settle for a sentence that makes sense. My old roommate once defended him to me by saying, "But he reminds me of my grandfather!". This only helped prove my point...senility does not mix with national broadcasts.

Back to the celebrity thing...gotta go with Kevin "POPOZAO" Federline. Good for him for knocking up the Brit and procreating so quickly, but he truely is the definition of a "no talent hack" riding on one's coat tails.
