Blake should not be on the team, he can't keep up in the new NHL, he will never be able to keep up on the big ice.
McCabe has no business being anywhere near this team.

Ryan Smyth has no business being on the team. There are a few questionable calls but Smyth is the only player who I think was an awful pick. Doesn't matter since they will win gold but whatever. Look at the US team for laughs and try to pick ONE, just ONE US PLAYER who would make TEAM CANADA. It's difficult I know..haha........ Smyth is there because he played in about 50 World Championships and Canada is being loyal to Smyth but the guy isn't that good. I don't think he was good enough to be put on the 2002 team either. The only reason he played in so many World Championships was that the Oilers season was always over early. Anyway, Canada will win.

Bertuzzi is one of the best power forwards in the game, and deserves a spot no doubt, IMO Draper should be on the taxi squad, with Staal in his place, and also, i would put Richards on the taxi squad and replace him with Spezza.

team looks good, we all have our complaints about who should be there, who shouldn't, but either way, we have a good team, great team I'd say

other rosters were released today

If its the same as the ones the kids were wearing the other day at the team annoucement ceremony, ya there nothing special. I was hoping for a modern spin on this old classic..


But then again its who's wearing it that counts, and I just hope we take it all. Ill never forget the scene downtown here in London, it was like everybody for one day was brother/sister and actually cared for one another, it was quite the day.

it's those stripes, they suck, they should either go all the way down the arms and sides, or not be there at all...

they are also skin tight...and those stripes...Canada used to have great jerseys, but that yellow one (even if it was a tribute to a former team) and these ones just plain suck. Shame on them :nooooo

Yeah, I would ditch the stripes. I usually buy a new Canada jersey everytime there's a big hockey tourney like this, but I think Ill pass on this one.
