lol, i would've but the Yankees game wasn't on, yes i know, we lost 2-1, and gave up first place, but we're still only a 1/2 game back, and the Sox are playing the Devil Rays! by all means the Yankees shouldn't have even took first place from them because the Sox shouldn't be losing to that shitty of a team...but they did, and that's alright by me, besides, they have to play the OTHER/BETTER Sox next .

You want to talk about "shouldn't's"? The Yankees have a payroll of $205 million. They shouldn't be in a battle for first place. They should be running away with the thing.
Did they stop testing the Yankees for roids? What's with Giambi?

well, 6-5 ain't bad for a round trip, it's dissapointing that we lost a couple of close games to the Angels, but the important part is that we took 3/4 games @ Fenway, that was big. Twins @ Yankee stadium next up, and it will be a good oppertunity to take sole possesion of the AL wild card, and keep climbing the ranks of the AL East.. Then we get a chance for redemption against the Angels, in our ballpark. GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!1

taking 3/4 from the sox WAS big until they decided to suck on the roadtrip.

they didn't suck on the road trip, they won their series against the sox, and the one against the rangers, and 2 out of their 3 losses against the Angels were very close games, and then they won the last game of the series to finish the trip with a winning record, they're playing better than Boston is right now *COUGH*losing to Tampa Bay*COUGH*, so i wouldn't talk about anyone sucking if i were you, mmmmmmmmmk?

The Yankees are 3-7 this year versus the Devil Rays. And last week the yankees were in 1st place and now they are in 2nd so I guess the yanks arent playing better ball than boston right now.

Wow! Almost no Yankee bashing for a month. I feel horrible about that - they should be bashed on a daily basis!
So those "dominating" Yankees sit 4 games back with 25 games to go. And their pitching still sucks arse. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Here's hoping Cleveland or Oakland keeps those overpaid wankers from making the playoffs. Damn that would be sweet!

I would just like to point out that the yankees now have a 4-10 record against tampa this season.
