Well that's no fair, there should be a "HELL NO!" option :lol:
Yeah to go along with that poll, one of my friends told me that the other day one of the morning guys was bashing the hip, saying that the only reason they were getting into the hall of fame was b/c people felt sorry for them that the "arnt as good as they used to be".
I dont know if anyone else heard this, as my friend isnt really a hip fan....but its kinda weird that a radio station would openly say that...i think it is anyway...especially a station that always plays the live hip album debuts....
anyone know exactly what was said?

:lol: I agree with you man, I cant stomach the radio, I dont know what its like in your neck of the woods, but here in London its s**t. If a radio station actually said that crap, this means war!! They should be pulled off the air, or at least boycotted. I wish we knew who it was, we could clog up their phonelines day and night, and overload there website with hate emails, or at the least burn the station and the broadcast tower down, who's with me!!! :x :rambo:
I hate the radio too! The last straw for me was when the evil powers that be yanked Y100, the only alternative station in Philadelphia. It played Theory of a Nicklecreed shit on occassion (due to pressures from said powers that be), but mostly devoted its playlists to hardworking alternative rockers. They also did *SO* much for the local Philly music scene. I know this has nothing to do with the hip, or the dumbass poll, but I had to express my hatred for radio.

Anyone that saw them perform last night and votes "Yes" obviously isn't a fan and shouldn't be voting in the first place.
As for Jenna's comment, I heard about the Philly radio station on the Pearl Jam board. The last song they played was "Alive" which was pretty cool.
The Hip should never quit period. They have another 20 years in them easily
..On the radio subject, fuck radio. Ever since I got Satellite Radio I have been listening to that all of the time. No they don't play any "Hip" though

Anyway, I can't believe whoever the morning guy would bash the Hip like that. For that matter, I can't believe the Edge would actually run a poll like this. Anyone who saw their performance last night knows that they are nowhere close to being done, they have so much more ass to kick! :thumb: Stupid radio people, I wish you'd tell all those Theory of a Nickelcreed and Sum Simple Charlotte people to piss off!! :rambo:

I didn't know that...makes me want to weep all over again. Y100 will always have a special place in my heart...the soundtrack of my adolescene. It lives on at live365 or some such online radio site. I suggest you all check it out.
