Can agree with you there Brazle. I wind up on here when I get up and the amount of time I spend going through the new posts usually determines whether or not I will attend the next class i'm suppossed to be at.

I have one to add to the list.

You stand in a ditch in the middle of nowhere out infont of someone's house arguing with your boyfriend because he's trying to take a pic of you next to a corduroy road" sign. because you want the picture because "it's a hip lyric" and he's taking forever and won't get out of the car!

had to pull this one out again

When you go to a job fair at a large luxury resort near where you live and have an interview with and detect the slightest Canadian accent in the interviewer's voice and you ask her where she's from and she says "eastern ontario" and you mention you're a hip fan and you end up discussing how the hip are mostly a "canadian thing" because if you mention it to anyone in the states most of the time you'll get "WHO?!"

and then mention on your way to another interview, that ironically the next department on your list is the "gift shop"
Not sure if this one has been said yet, but you know you're addicted when while travelling through the U.S. you find yourself browsing through record stores looking for Hip albums just to make sure they're being well represented.

I end up doing that even at stores here in Toronto... sometimes moving Hip albums to the front of rows under the guise of searching for a CD.

I did that too when I was in England a few years ago!

Check. Pretty much every record store I go into.

HMV's here in Ottawa have three seperate shelves for the boys, so they pass the test.

hahaha I do the same thing down here.
this happens to me every single time i walk into a music store. during any given week, i have several cds that i intend on checking out next time i go to a music store, but as soon as i walk into one my mind goes completely blank and i wander over to the "T" section in the rock aisle. in fact, last time i was at the mall down here in philly, i picked up a second copy of day for night. the one that i originally bought is a little scratched but i think the main reason i bought it was because i was so shocked to actually see day for night in a philadelphia cd store.
