so i was at the game last night and i learned a lesson,
as Canadian fans, we have got nothing on the Slovakian fans.
there were about 10 or so fans sitting close to my seats, and i have never heard fans cheer so much at a hockey game before. even when their team is down 5-2, they still are smiling, chanting like they were winning the game.
kudos to those fans
(i'd like to see some of that emotion from the Canadian fans on wednesday night)

no no, you've got it all wrong, it's not that we're not loud enough or emotional enough as Canadian fans (proof: the fans at the Bell Centre for the first two games), it's those slack-ass lousy Toronto fans
. I guess they don't usually have much to cheer about though so it's not entirely their fault .
*edit* this just crossed my mind...how can you judge our fan support at a Russia vs. Slovakia game...we weren't even playing :?.

Damn! that would have been a nice break for Canada if we would have drawn Germany in the semi's! Now I guess assuming that we get by slovakia we will get the winner of the Czech's and Sweeden. GO CANADA GO!

is it a crossover for the semi's with highest seed left from each pool playing the lowest seed left from the other pool?

i dont think it's toronto fans in general, i think it has a lot to do with the cost of tickets
the only way you make it into good seats is by paying through your nose, or selling your sould to the devil
anyways my point was that even though they were losing the game, they still had a possitive outlook. how many times you've seen montreal fans singing and cheering when they are down by 3?
