Julie Doiron was there too, it was a beautiful evening
I went alone and after it ended i was in no rush to leave so i was kinda sitting there in the middle of my row just trying to take it all in or absorb what just happenned, out of the corner of my eye, someone was approaching me, thought i was in trouble or getting kicked out but before i could look her direction, she put her hands on mine & smiled and said " just looked like you could use one of these." such a thoughtful simple gesture i could barely respond and just smiled and said thanks & take care, so thanks and take care again whomever you are !
that is beautiful.
it was the same kind of vibe in ottawa.

well done. :thumb:
And should have added, my favourite lyric from The Only Place To Be: "It's an earthlike world - cold and real - with a sunlike star, you can feel"
There's a video of Gordie playing Lou Reed's How Do You Think It Feels on YouTube, and during the intro he talks about humming the melody to himself throughout his life.
I have noticed myself doing the same thing to The Only Place To Be lately.
Ba be-ba ba baaaaa

I didn't see it posted in here so forgive me if this has already been mentioned but both ProStudioMasters and the US site for 7digital have 24/44.1 FLAC available.

Came across this short doc from CBC about how the album/book is being introduced to classrooms.

I still haven't listened to this album. I know there's been talk of new music and I do hope that comes but right now this is the only "new, unheard" Gord music left for me and I guess I'm just not ready to let that go...

Sorry, I was at work and it won't let me open up certain websites so I couldn't see. That is AWESOME. I was there so I hope I can record this somehow. :jump
