It makes me so mad that people like us can't get tickets, but these people just trying to make some money are able to. I was trying to get tickets today, and had both my wife and sister trying for me as well. No luck

Good move by Stubhub and Kijiji
If it's anything like the Ottawa show they'll drop a bunch of extra tickets the day before the show and more on the day OF the show.
Who knows though because it's not ticketmaster.

Toronto did the same.
Venues always have tickets on hold for family and friends of the band as well as for the venue themselves.....Those are the ones that will get released the day of. For sure be on the look out.
A lot of times, just show up at the box office on the day of the show and you will more than likely get a ticket.
potsie Wrote:I only managed one ticket so my wife and I will be arm wrestling over it. The sales website crashed due to high traffic volume and was down for 20 minutes. It's not credit card entry for this show so tickets are already up on Kijiji and the secondary market. I've seen them for $377 and $522 each. I could stomach the scalping for the MMP shows but seeing someone make a huge profit on a ticket for a show that not even Gord is profiting from is revolting.
im really surprised no credit card entry for this show. that is one of the best way to eliminate scalpers

Yeah, that worked well in Ottawa.
The Halifax WE Day is on November 30th, the day after the Secret Path show. Joseph Boyden is going to be there along with Margaret Trudeau, Classified, and Romeo Dallaire. I have no inside information but it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that Gord could be added to that line-up if he's still in town. He was added to the Toronto WE Day just 5 days prior to that event. For those in Halifax who missed out on tickets to the Rebecca Cohn show this might be something to keep your eyes open for.
I have it from good sources, he is doing it.
I read on the Hip Facebook group someone met Mike Donnie at the Toronto Secret Path show and that Gord wants to do this show across Canada if he is feeling well. Maybe over the next few months we see a few more shows pop up with a few weeks notice.
is Gord & crew ok with recording some of the show? and posting to youtube?
don't want to do it tuesday if im not supposed to/allowed
also may look into attending WE day
They asked for no recording during the show... as the family does have a smudging ceremony before and consider this entire thing to be more of a Ceremony itself not a concert.... out of respect I suppose is what they are asking. So I put my cam away then after streamed the talks after words LIVE
however the Ottawa and Toronto shows were recorded I think
I found Toronto and created a playlist for entire show adding the aftershow talk with Mike Downie and Pearl Wenjack etc

Yep. Gord performing on stage today for WE Day. One song: The Stranger
Was a great performance, powerful... acted out, delivered the message
Have a few friends that were there last night. They got some pictures with Greg Keelor, Jim Cuddy and Joel Plaskett.
