here in moncton rock c103.1 i hear it once a day or so. not a big fan of last two albums but im really digging AT i find myself singing it in my head at work lately lol same for rush's new song headlong flight. pretty awesome to....now if they could just stop playing nicklegay 3+ times a fricken day!
now that the dust has settled.
I could not get into this as a single. Maybe it's my old age and just not being able to rock as hard anymore. an obvious sign, my fav off the new one is the title track. but this song just wasn't connecting with me.
fast forward close to a year later. At Transformation comes on my ipod shuffle, and i f**king rock it. I must have listened to it close to 20 times this weekend. now i get it. now it clicks. It just proves my theory that you need to be in the mood of the music to enjoy the music.

Still my favorite song off the album. I love everything about it: the grungy distortion on the guitars, Gord's menacing vocals, Sinclair's badass bass riff, Baker's funky guitar noodling in between the verses, and that beautiful moment when the song explodes into that majestic chorus around the 1:52 mark. It just has that vintage Hip sound that could only come from them.
