I realize there are web sites with this information but I thought since we tend to have similar tastes in music this would be a more relevant list. Ideally these are confirmed release dates but bona fide rumours with a solid reference are good too.

This is a solo album from the Hold Steady frontman. I have an advanced copy (actually, I somehow have two) and it's very interesting stuff, much more mellow than his work with the band but maintaining his great lyricism.
Definitely looking forward to the new M&S and, of course, the new work from Das Hips.

Joel Plaskett Emergency- Scrappy Happiness (March 27)- this one is interesting in that the band is recording and releasing a song a week leading up to the official release of the physical album. Pretty cool stuff. They've already released the first song:

The Craig Finn album is definitely worth a look guys. I'm writing a review of it at the moment, but suffice it to say that if you like The Hold Steady and would appreciate a mellow version of their sound, this is the album for you.

I haven't been this excited for a new release in a long time. The first single released sounds amazing. There's a hint of White Stripes there, but a distinct difference, and nothing at all like the Dead Weather or the Raconteurs. Can't wait to hear what the rest of the album sounds like.
