With the tickets for this tour being $90 + service charges = $100/$110 per seat, are these prices going to effect your plans on seeing any shows?

If tickets were reasonable ($50) I would be trying to make close to 18 of these shows announced today, still a shitload of money but that's what I consider fair.

I believe TTH rely on people going to multiple shows each and every tour, I think all the tickets will sell but a lot of them will go to scalpers and now Ticketnow. I'll be curious to hear if there's any empty seats at the upcoming shows.
It's definitely affecting my decision.. I'm only going to one Canadian show, maybe only one U.S. show.. I can't afford the 110 bucks, but I'm gonna go to one anyways.. normally I'd try to hit up like 3 or 4 probably.
I'm a student now so I'll go to one show tops, maybe zero depending on the local price. Even if I still lived in Edmonton and had my old job, though, there's no way I'd pay that much money for more than a single show. If it wasn't "Evening With" I wouldn't go at all.
I'd gladly pay a reasonable fee to go to a bunch of shows - I've spent shitloads on tickets, flights, hotels, etc, etc, following this band, but something about this tour/album/etc just doesn't smell right, and it's putting me off.

I'll probably go to one Massey Hall show, and that's it. Unless, by the magic of email, my "prayer" gets answered.
I can't find the ticket prices for the Kitchener shows anywhere, are they actually going to be $90 before service charges?
Tough decision, my 2009 concert budget is already getting blown out of proportion and it's only the beginning of March............

I'll probably get tickets for one Massey Hall show, or maybe the Kingston show, but that's about it for The Hip this year...........
I'll probably end up at two shows (for now)

But if they were $50 shows, It'd probably be more like 4-6
Little steep but I have not been to a concert since I saw them in Kingston. I am going to 3 as of now London, Massey and Artpark.

I always liked Copps in Hamilton I wonder why there not playing there as of yet...I guess maybe 5 at Massey is close enough Confusedcratch:
Not really. Of course, it's tax return season so it's the perfect time to announce some concerts.
If they were closer I'd go to more. It's more the price of transportation that's getting me, not the tickets.
where are the ticket prices at?
Prices definitely are having an impact on me. I want to go to all three Ottawa shows, but with my wife going to one, that's $400+ for the three nights...If they were $60 I wouldn't have to think about it but with kids on the way too, I've got more to think about than just myself...
With a 3 month old little one at home - these prices are definitely out of my budget for multiple shows.
I'll be going to one show but that's about it. Wish it would be more....
where are the ticket prices?
I have my London ticket, I'm going to hit at least one Massey show, and depending on US prices, I would like to attend Detroit, Philly, and Lewiston but as mentioned cost will be the deciding factor.
there was a time when i wouldnt of cared what the cost and would go to mulitple shows, but now i couldnt be bothered to drive and spend 90+ on a ticket for a band ive seen 25 times in the last 14 years.

if they had announced a London show that wasnt outdoors in the park i would probably buy one but im going to pass on this tour.

Plus Ive got better things to do with my money these days than blow it on Hip tickets, a couple of my favorite artists are going to be touring this year and id rather see them instead.
