confirmed on toronto radio

VH and TTH tonight SadSadSad

any possible way to get in?

Think the boys will only play a small opening set?
It should be VH opening for TTH lol.
OK... I'm free tonight, who wants to take me?

Exactly.
IMO Van Halen is one of the most irritating bands that get regular airplay. I listen a fair bit to the Classic Rock stations and although you get beaten over the head with Pink Floyd, ACDC, The Stones and such I just can bring myself to listen to 1 complete Van Halen song...they are musical arsenic to my ears.

Balsillie should fire VH for this concert and just go with the Hip like in previous years.
All I've heard are bad things about the reunion.
Let's focus on the fact that there is a Hip concert in Toronto tonight, and ways to get me in to it! Smile
I'll leave a back door open for you guys.
god dammit i wanna go!!!

Sad

I agree. It doesn't matter if it's Sammy or Roth at vocals, the second I realize it's VH, the station gets changed. It's like nails on a chalkboard for me.

really? i find them kind of undervalued in terms of "mainstream" rock n roll ... i.e. for my .02 they deserve more rock n roll props than the likes of ac/dc, aerosmith etc.

but, as i mentioned on page 1, i thought their recent show with dlr was embarrassing.

that said, i'd seen dlr solo about half a dozen times and i expected, well, embarrassment. the only reason they're getting by popularity-wise on this tour is nostalgia ... dlr left with that line-up at its commercial peak.
i've never seen someone butcher songs like that man does.
