Amazing resume. I think with Albini or
Rubin, you'd be looking for a ballsier, stripped-down production compared with Bob Rock. In fairness to Mr. Rock, however, WC is the album that brought me back to the HIP after a long hiatus. A little over-produced for MY tastes, but it still rocks, and a year later, I'm still listening. And of course, no matter who produces, it's THE BAND that still has to write, play, and sing, and who ultimately decides what musical direction they want to explore.
I'm going to be heading to this concert tomorrow. I have a buddy that designs a lot of the mobile website for RIM and hes taking me.
I will be sporting my "Paul Kicks Ass" shirt for the fist time to a concert! I think we're seated in sec 101 row 30, seats 15 16, but im not sure

Its at the ACC. A bunch of people from Waterloo are getting together at a Pub before hand, I will not be there however.

I talked to my buddy today, he is not sold that it is the Hip, thinks it could be BNL or John Mayer.
We'll see.
MAv usually chimes in with confirming info, in a sly way, when he knows the answer... but he has been unusually quiet on this one...

Man what a let down that would be, going and expecting to see The Hip & VH, you get there and find out its BNL and John Mayer...................
Nothing against the either of them, but to me that would be a huge let down.......LOL

Sorry I wasn't too clear, rumour it is still VH, but Mayer or BNL could be inplace of the Hip, again, he just said it is rumour foating around.
