Wow! Those are superb.
Ty sir, you have keen eye yourself, your bridge shots are beautifull , and I love the pic of the chain, great perspective and colour. Also love Grimes shot of the clouds in the valley with the snow covered peaks. Gamblers "Cloud Break" - Lake Windermere, BC" is gorgeous. Skippy's Port Albert, Lake Huron has really pretty colours, great silhouettes and reflection, makes me wanna go fishing. Love Daylights Gord pic and the one of the Stairwell.
Everyone's photos look absolutely spectacular, so I thought I'd make a small contribution. They pale next to the other shots in this thread; you guys really surprised me.

All are good, but i think the 1st, 5th & 6th are spectacular.
Thanks H.E. ! The 1st pic was a sunrise I saw on the way to work, it was so beautiful, I had to pull over and get some shots, the fog made it look like some kinda desert landscape, when in reality it's just a farmers field. Here is pic of the same spot in daylight for comparison.

The 5th pic was from an amazing sunset, to be honest that pic did it no justice, the sky behind me was lit up, at first pink then a nice orange, it was one of those moments you never forget , awe inspiring to tell the truth , it was just so breathtaking , it was stunning. Not to sound so melodramatic , but it's the truth. Here is another pic from that sunset right after the sun dropped behind the Rockies..

The 6th pic is of a mud puddle in the process of drying up, the flash unexpectedly went off and created a nice effect, it looks like the surface of planet, here is what the rest of the pics looked like, you can see an insect trail slithering through .

Wow! Amazing! I'd love to get back to Toronto to get some night shots. :thumb:
I can't believe I forgot about this thread!

Here are three shots I had framed for my Dad on Father's Day. All were taken during my Honeymoon in Scotland last October.

Let's get this thread going again. I have enjoyed everyone's shots so far, and now it's time for me to contribute. My photgraphy passion is for nature, especially wildlife so I have posted a few of my favorites. I have lots to learn and look forward to any hints or comments from the pros out there!

I look forward to encountering more wildlife this summer and improving my shooting as I go along. Please keep posting all your photos here, I enjoy viewing them! You can see some more of my shots including some hip right here http://www.flickr.com/photos/42294361@N00/sets/
Excellent shots, trevor and hip! :thumb: Nice one.

Funnily enough, I went out taking shots with a girl from work today - It's been ages since I've been out taking pictures. There'll be more London shots coming soon. Big Grin
I like your shots too Zenith and am anxious to see them. When you do your night shots, are you shooting on manual settings? That's what I want to learn more about!

He'll have to use a tri-pod and a long exposure. The key to night shots is not moving the camera and leaving the shutter open for 10, 20, 30 seconds or more. It's quite fun.

As for your shots Hip, I like them. One comment I would make is that there doesn't seem to be enough depth to them. They look a little flat. When you are shooting a bird in the distance, try to open your apeture up a little more to only focus on the bird and blur the background. That will separate the two and trick the eye into believing that there is more depth then there really is.

I know it's hard when you are working with uncooperative animals but you'll have some real winners if you can master that technique.

I have some new pics on my blog from my cousins wedding and from my honeymoon in scotland. Check them out. The link is in my signature below! :thumb:
