While this album was released in July, I don't think I got a copy until that Christmas. I think it was a sunny snow covered xmas morning that I finally put the album on and was transfixed looking out the window listening to what was so different, yet so incredible in terms of what we were used to from Gord.

I've given this album a lot of play over the years, and find it does an amazing job in helping me de-stress, unwind and relax. I too was thrilled when this was released on vinyl.

One of my favourite lyrics of anything Gord wrote is from Vancouver Divorce:

What the hell is this?
You said, "It's art, just fucking mirror it"

I'm running through all of the Gord/Hip 'F' bombs and can't think of a single one that doesn't perfectly the lyric/song. None feel awkward or forced.
