Are these being found on YouTube?
Are there videos or just audio?
I've had these for years but told not to share them.

The only downside is that they're all ripped at 96 kbps. But I'm not complaining, as I assume that's what they were uploaded as on thehip.com?

Regardless, this is amazing.

That Dec. 29 show was available on thehip.com to stream sometime about a decade or so ago. I could probably find a post in my history of me really being excited about it, as an audience recording of the show never circulated before it was put up by the band. It's a gem, and the stretch of the Dec 29, 31 and Jan 1 shows are all worth the listens. Nearly six hours of lights out performances (even with a couple of lyrical flubs). I think almost every Music @ Work song is represented, either through an initial performance or a rant, as are several from Coke Machine Glow. Plus, there's the Makes No Difference tease from the Jan. 1 show (my first Hip gig) that gets me every time.

Wow! An old FearNoArt capped video... Jason was instrumental in helping me find content for Let's Gather 'around The Fan.

Wonder whatever became of him...

I never knew his name, even though I had a crap load of his videos/VCDs. He did great work

Holy shit, a huge thank you to whomever posted these! I missed out on the '04 Winnipeg concert, so it's great to get this one.
On top of that the Horseshoe '99 is probably my favourite Hip live recording of all time. The whole band was fucking firing on all cylinders for this show. 1998-2000 were my favourite era of Gord's vocals-- just a tad gravelly, super punchy, and he could nail that vibrato. Gord's hilarious line at the end of Gift Shop, The Bastard, Coke Machine Glow lyrics, Gord making up lyrics for Something On, and some of my favourite performances of Sharks and Grace, Too-- so many great moments! Been really enjoying this one while taking the dog out for winter hikes.

Did a quick search and couldn't find it (but it is a 60 page thread so I certainly might have missed it).

Stumbled across this the other day; Canada Day 1989 - the boys playing to a crowd of about 10 (from what you can see on the video), during the day and with Paul and Rob on the same side of the stage!
