Just quickly scanned that show and it seems awesome. So many rarities on it; Use it Up, Pigeon Camera, Save the Planet, Thugs, Daredevil...

I was at this show, in the front row on Robby's side. It was an amazing setlist that night.

Was at the show as well. It was planned to be a road trip with my wife but she fell with a nasty cold so I asked my then 13 year old daughter if she was interested. The trip yielded so many awesome memories, including playing speed chess with total strangers at one of Harvard's gardens, and this remarkable performance.

Wow, that '86 demo is amazing. A couple of songs on there I've never heard before. Leather Man f'n rocks!

I'm probably behind the times, but Hipbase has the dirt on that demo tape: "1986 demo tape, recorded in Toronto, by the eventual producer of the EP: Ken Greer. The tape included early versions of Up To Here numbers, as well as a few of the songs performed at the 07/15/88 Horseshoe show. Greer's demo tape was recently sold on e-bay for $290 US. (Thanks to Shane Kroeker for bringing the tape to my attention)"

Incredible...I haven't even heard of half these songs! Too bad the recording isn't good enough to master...those songs would be a nice addition to the eventual b-sides album.

Came across this video tribute this afternoon that was put together by former Muchmusic VJ Bill Welychka. It features some footage from around Kingston during the day of the final show, a couple of newer interviews with the guys that I haven't seen, and also a brief interview with guitarist Kris Abbott from TPOH around the 7:58 mark (she's the one in the blue shirt). Enjoy!

Not sure where to stick this video so I thought I'd throw it in here. It's Paul on stage in Kingston, taking the mic for a verse of Tom Cochrane's "Big League" (that is Ken Greer, producer of the Hip's EP, to Paul's right). The video is from March 2018.

That was actually quite horrible.
I do really like July Talks take on it though.
