There are a few reviews out that I've come across in the last day:

That first review is really good - glad its being taken as it is - as a solo effort recorded in the way Gord wanted to. Looking forward to the release.

I think the writer makes a mistake in calling this Gord's "last album". While it is certainly true that Introduce Yerself represents him reflecting on his mortality, which does make it a "brave" record, I believe there will be more solo work to come from him. In the Mansbridge interview he referenced having "3 or 4 albums in the can" and we know that he's done a fair bit of work with Bob Rock on his own. It would be interesting to know who the family is going to put in charge of curating his unreleased solo material and if he left any wishes for what he wanted done with it.

Great review from NPR:

I'm really looking forward to this album, but obviously not with the usual "happy release day" excitement that accompanies a new record from Gord or the Hip. Mostly I'm just thankful that we get to hear that glorious, unmistakable voice pouring out of our speakers one more time. Hopefully it's not the last.

Six songs in. "First Person" and "Introduce Yerself" are my two highlights so far, but "Bedtime" is lovely too.

I listened to "You, Me and the Bs" at work because I knew it would be a lighter song, and I really liked it.

Now to delve into the rest.
