GN'R North American tour
#16

no worries Smile And I don't take it personally at all. I don't judge people and music.....I just find it interesting the wide ranging opinions people have on him...that's all. I find it quite interesting to hear what people have to say, and sometimes I put in my 2 cents....that's all! He certainly does bring out a lot of different feelings in people (most of which are negative I know)

Regarding the audience being kept waiting and booing? I recall right after Izzy quit G 'N' R he remarked that, once he'd sobered up, listening to that night after night got really old rally fast.

The Guns N Roses tour/album will be HUGE and the biggest come back in music history, that's my opinion but beyond that the tour will sell out to say the least.

As for Slash, he will return to his home, it is his destiny.

Sept. 21 - The Warfield, San Francisco
Sept. 23 - Hyundai Pavilion, Los Angeles

The Question is, how many of these shows will be cancelled because Axel has a fit or just plain doesn't feel like playing

I say they don't make it past Vegas...

Wouldn't a true comeback require all, or at least most of the original lineup? Let's be honest here. This new band he's playing with is NOT Guns N' Roses, and neither is the new album.

"Welcome to the Jungle" is still one of the greatest rock songs ever. Hearing it live would be a privelege, and those guys, whoever they are, did a fine job of kicking that crowds ass with it. Good on ya Axl for getting cleaned up and bringing "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE??!!!" out of retirement. Love it.

the new guys are incredible players
Tommy Stinson on bass (the Replacements)
Brain on drums (Primus)
Ron Thal on guitar (Bumblefoot)
Richard Fortus on guitar
Robin Finck on guitar (Nine Inch Nails)
Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman on keys and synth
